Innovative solutions to improve access, quality, and equity in health care are often blocked by fragmentation, competition, and misaligned incentives across the industry. Blue Shield of California Industry initiatives works to overcome these barriers, transforming health care's biggest issues by scaling and sustaining innovation through industry collaboration and policy movement.

The Central Valley WIC Dietetic Internship is a WIC-based program that offers a combined, online Master's Degree in Applied Nutrition, with an on-site dietetic internship. Our program was created to help increase the number of registered dietitians in WIC Programs across California's Central Valley. The purpose of California Conference of Local Health Department Nutritionists is: To build leadership capacity among public health nutritionists to influence nutrition funding and programs at the local and state levels and serve in an advisory capacity to the California Conference of Local Health Officers (CCLHO).

We bring together unique stakeholders in ways others cannot by creating connections and educational opportunities and resources across sectors, geographies, program and policy areas, and levels of government. The mission of ITUP is to promote innovative and workable policy solutions that expand health care access and improve the health of all Californians.

California WIC Association (CWA) is a non-profit organization formed in 1992 by directors of local agencies administering the federal Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
Our mission is to lead California communities to nourish, educate, support, and empower families in building a healthy future. We do so by promoting WIC and related services, including breastfeeding support, nutrition education, health care, family and employee wellness, and public health workforce development.
CWA seeks inclusion and partnership beyond the traditional WIC network, including businesses and corporations, vendors, allied public health and nutrition networks, and the general public.
