We are proud to have become the world's first B Corp Certified themed attraction design company. We are also a climate positive workforce that will surpass the funding of 10,000 new trees in 2024, avoiding 282 tonnes of CO2e entering the atmosphere.

Community: We look at the community we work in and how we can make an impact locally, such as addressing waste reduction, being mindful of products and supply chains, consumption, and promoting health and wellness (such as walkability, active transportation, and public transit.)
At the Office: Within our offices, our employees are actively engaged in making our workspaces a more sustainable, environmentally friendly place through simple measures such as hosting recycling information sessions, promoting reduced power usage by unplugging at the end of the day, and promoting wellness activities.
Client Projects: The goal at FORREC is to implement sustainability measures on all our projects, from concept to design to CD to implementation. We are seeing growth in the uptake of sustainable ideas and solutions. Advocate for it throughout the design process- Concept to CD. Altering an unsustainable trajectory From climate change and environmental degradation to poverty and inequality, our businesses, our communities and our very planet face serious and accelerating threats to sustainability and survival. The rapid pace of technology development has meant that products are being replaced in increasingly shorter cycles, which leads to serious environmental consequences. In 2019, less than 20% of used electronics were formally recycled. The industry has no unilateral process, system or policy to deal with where the equipment goes at the end of its life cycle. In 2019, over 50 million tons of e-waste &ndash; including displays, cables, power supplies and other AV equipment &ndash; was generated in North America and Europe. This number has increased 21% over the last 5 years. In the meantime, the clock is ticking, and we have been late to act.
Achieving a sustainable future Focusing on sustainability isn&rsquo;t just essential for the health of our planet. It directly benefits the health of our businesses and our industry by better positioning us to address new market opportunities, reducing our exposure to a variety of business risks and strengthening the very foundation of our economy. By its very nature, the AV industry is well-positioned to make substantial progress in areas related to responsible waste management, life cycle carbon emission reduction, and reduced energy usage. Aquarium Conservation Partnership

GCC is an international membership organisation providing environmental sustainability guidelines for the art sector.
The coalition&rsquo;s primary targets are to facilitate a reduction of the visual art sector&rsquo;s greenhouse gas emissions by a minimum of 50% by 2030 (in line with the Paris Agreement&rsquo;s goal of keeping global warming to below 1.5&deg;C), and promote zero-waste practices.
We believe that by aligning an international network of members with specific targets and focusing on effective action, together we can create a sustainable visual arts sector.&nbsp;
Join our coalition of artists, institutions/non-profits, art sector businesses and galleries all of whom are committed to creating a sustainable sector. Membership is free and open to all.&nbsp;

Andersen will be discussing IAAPA&rsquo;s ambitious work on sustainability. IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry,announced the results of its preliminary, and thorough, scoping work on ESG in December 2023.
More details will follow, but the organisation&rsquo;s plans include not only assistance for members, but also work to look at its own operations. Six flagship initiatives have been identified around Net Zero, Zero Waste, diversity and inclusion targets, communications and disclosure and membership ESG support.

Aoife Fannin, project manager at Gallery Climate Coalition (GCC) will speak at greenloop: sustainability in visitor attractions conference 2024. We will then speak to Judy Mann-Lang, Executive Strategic Projects at <a href="https://www.aquarium.co.za/">Two Oceans Aquarium</a> and Eugenia Cordero Schmidt, Program Officer at <a href="https://cssbrazil.org/">Center for Species Survival Brazil</a> (CSS Brazil) to hear how collaborating with Reverse the Red helps them in their work.
