The Lung Health Foundation is calling for the federal government to commit to a national lung health agenda that can improve patient outcomes and reduce the burden of lung disease on Canada and Canadians. Our policy workshop sessions will be a first step in consulting our healthcare provider and researcher network on key elements of what could be included within an agenda.
&nbsp;
In this workshop, infectious respiratory disease experts will be consulted on goals and strategies in the areas of infectious respiratory disease health promotion and awareness, disease detection and management, and research and surveillance. &nbsp;Participants will have the opportunity to be a key contributor in shaping the contents of a national framework respecting lung health and driving health policy change through a series of breakout group discussions.
