The time is now: active approaches to inclusivity. As libraries we pride ourselves on the friendly, welcoming and inclusive nature of our services and staff, but increasingly recognise that this may not be the experience for all members of our library and university communities. This conference is an opportunity to highlight the positive actions that are being taken to promote equity and tackle inequities within libraries and adjacent services. But also a chance to look critically at whether our libraries are really inclusive and supportive, considering whether we are avoiding enacting meaningful change to maintain the status quo. We'd love you to join us in asking these questions of ourselves - if you would like to register, please choose the relevant ticket type from the options displayed. Tickets are £35 for ALN delegates and £52 for non-ALN delegates. Only those formally awarded a sponsored place should select that ticket option.
The registration process will ask you for invoicing details and a purchase order number (should your institution require one), which should be made out to SCONUL, referencing the ALN Conference. Please note VAT will not be added to the costs quoted. Invoices will be distributed electronically to institutions from SCONUL in due course.
