Bio
Ritu Jain joined the financial services industry after a 20+ year career as a successful entrepreneur in technology and a background in engineering. She brings a unique perspective and a diverse skillset with a focus on exceptional client service and leveraging technology to meet client needs. She is knowledgeable in all facets of financial planning and is particularly passionate about helping women and couples create a customized financial path tailored to their specific goals. Through her own personal hurdles, Ritu learned firsthand how vital it is for women to fully understand their investments and future financial plans.
Ritu serves as a Board Member at American India Foundation in Chicago. &nbsp;She is a member of Cents of Self, an initiative that inspires, informs, and empowers women to pursue their best financial futures. She is also a certified IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) to help with tax preparation services to low-income families.
Ritu has had the opportunity to live in India, Middle East, Australia and is fluent English &amp; Hindi. She lives in the Chicago area with her husband, who is a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers. They have two children, one in college and one in high school. Ritu loves to play tennis, paddleball, and pickleball in her free time.

Every child deserves access to a quality education, regardless of their zip code. Sadly, many students from lower-income families are stuck in underperforming public schools and feel hopeless about their future. ACE Scholarships is leading the push for school choice because we believe that every child should have equal access to the education that best fits their needs. Our organization addresses inequalities in our education system by providing partial tuition scholarships to lower-income families, enabling them to send their children to private K-12 schools that align with their values. This not only levels the playing field but also provides a challenging academic environment that promotes growth and success for students.

Our innovative three-way partnership model is the key to our success. ACE, the school, and the student&rsquo;s family are all invested in the student&rsquo;s success. An ACE scholarship not only benefits the student but also their entire family. For instance, in 2022, 100% of ACE scholars graduated from high school. Additionally, ACE scholars are often the first in their family to attend college, and their parents tend to spend more time helping with homework and volunteering. ACE parents are also more likely to return to school, while ACE scholars are more likely to secure good jobs and own homes.

The need for school choice is urgent, and ACE is rapidly expanding to meet it. Since our launch in Denver in 2000, we have awarded over 66,000 scholarships, totaling more than $170 million, and have expanded to 12 states. However, we must do more because the American educational system is failing. The most recent national report card indicates that American students are floundering, with overall U.S. test scores below the global average. We need to act fast because the future of our nation is at stake. Parents are waking up and demanding more educational options for their children. Scholarship applications for the 2023/24 school year increased by a remarkable 68%, demonstrating parents' eagerness to choose the best school for their children's needs. There are thousands of empty seats in excellent private schools just waiting to be filled. We are confident in our ability to make a difference and are committed to doing even more to ensure that every child has access to a quality education. Join us!

ACE Scholarships

SoldierStrong, an IRS registered 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to helping America&rsquo;s service men and women and veterans take their next steps forward, was founded by a 9/11 survivor. Chris Meek was at Ground Zero during the attacks and his experiences that day inspired a desire in him to give back to the men and women who serve. Thus, SoldierStrong was founded to help our nation&rsquo;s heroes take their next steps forward, just like Chris and so many other Americans took their next steps forward to safety through ash and debris on one of the most horrific days in our country&rsquo;s history.&nbsp;
 SoldierStrong is dedicated to helping America&rsquo;s service men and women and veterans take their next steps forward, which includes on the battlefield when service members are deployed, in the classroom when they return home seeking a higher education and further opportunities to put skills learned in the military to use in a civilian career and, in particular, as they transition into civilian life after experiencing both the visible and invisible wounds of service through the donation of revolutionary medical technologies to Veterans Affairs medical facilities and rehabilitative and other special care centers for the specific use of U.S. military veterans.
 SoldierStrong aspires to ensure that the revolutionary medical technologies the organization delivers, including but not limited to the SoldierSuit which is used to help paralyzed and injured veterans stand and walk again, the BraveMind virtual reality system used to treat veterans living with post-traumatic stress &nbsp;and the iBOT &reg; Personal Mobility Device, a powered wheelchair, are available in Veterans Affairs and other medical facilities for the specific use of U.S. military veterans in all 50 states. The organization&rsquo;s vision is to not only ensure that the technology is available in every state but accessible in all medical facilities willing to accept and utilize the technology in order to positively impact the lives of as many U.S. military veterans across the country as possible.&nbsp;

Founded in 1979 by its president, Morton C. Blackwell, Leadership Institute (LI) provides training in campaigns, fundraising, grassroots organizing, youth politics, and communications. The Institute teaches conservatives of all ages how to succeed in politics, government, and the media.
While many liberal organizations exist to increase the involvement of liberal activists, few similar organizations exist to serve conservatives. Because conservatism tends to focus on the power of ideas, most conservative organizations are think tanks that focus on policy or legislation.
The left excels at organizing and mobilizing large numbers of people &ndash; activating them in the public policy process. While philosophy is very important, the lack of widespread, active conservative participation is one of America's greatest practical weaknesses.
LI increases the number and effectiveness of conservative activists and leaders in the public policy process. The Institute doesn't analyze policy; it teaches conservative Americans how to influence policy through direct participation, activism, and leadership.

In 2022, a study with Project Tomorrow highlighted a considerable financial literacy gap among high schoolers.
